Sanatan Dharama The Science of Everything Within & Outside
Sanatan Dharma defies definition through mere words. Its essence transcends linguistic bounds, rendering it beyond complete explanation or comprehension within a single lifetime. One can only endeavor to live by its principles, hoping to gain insight over time. Seekers of Sanatan humbly acknowledge their limitations. Its directives are towards building up a character – pious, dutiful, strong, self reliant, upright, righteous, gentle and well-balanced – a character which will be that of a good man and a good citizen.
Sanskrit Classes
We claim to practice Sanatan Dharma without having ever read any of the original scriptures because of our inability to read Sanskrit. Most of us have lost touch with Sanskrit for three generations, meaning our fathers and grandfathers also did not know Sanskrit. The language of our Bhagwan, so important to Sanatan, is in such a state of neglect that now-a-days no one even talks of its revival. We're entirely dependent on English or regional interpretations, which reflect the authors' perceptions. Much is likely lost or misinterpreted, though we can't be sure. We must renew our interest in the study of Sanskrit to access the immense knowledge in our Indic texts. As Sanskrit faces extinction, the future of Sanatan Dharma is at risk. If we want to bring Sanatan Dharma back in our lives reviving Sanskrit is the first and most crucial step. Reviving Sanskrit is the first crucial step, starting with learning it ourselves and introducing it in primary schools.
